Historical Walking Tour of Downtown Hamilton
On Saturday, April 14th at 8 pm, Missus Mooney and Michael Furey of Halfpenny Dreadfuls are hosting an historical walking tour for the general public of "The Gore" Area of Downtown Hamilton. The tour departs near the Crowne Plaza where our conference is being held. Admission is $10 including taxes per person and is booked directly with Missus Mooney.

Ghost Hunt at Custom House
We are pleased to announce that there will be a Ghost Hunt offered as part of the weekend activities. It will be operated by Haunted Hamilton and take place at Custom House in Hamilton. We are now accepting "expressions of interest" in the form of pre-registration. We expect to be able to host this event for a maximum of 40 people, so to avoid disappointment, you should pre-register now. The expected fee for this event will be about $35, which will include a video of the event for you as a keepsake. The tentative date for the hunt is Friday, April 13th, departing the front steps of the Crowne Plaza at about 9 pm that evening.

Egyptian Mummy Unwrapping Ceremony
We are excited to announce that a Victorian persona, Dr. Eugenia Mooney, will visit the CHAC along with Bernard (Bob as he is lovingly known as) the Mummy and her Museum of Cairo guard. She will show you what it was like to be invited to an event that swept the Victorian upper class and was all the rage. The unwrapping is educational as well as interactive. It will happen on Sunday, April 15th. Seating is limited to the first 30 people to register, with pricing a bargain at only $10 per person for this one-hour event!
